ABA Therapy and Instruction has provided services in Miami since 2017, founded by Amarilys Ramos Linares, LMHC, BCBA. Ms. Ramos has a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and 25 years of experience in mental health services. She has extensively worked with children and adults in clinical settings as an evaluator and therapist for cognitive and developmental disorders.
Our company aims to provide the best possible treatment for children and adults who present deficits to adapt to the demands of the school, home, and other social settings, so that they can work on skills that will help them become more independent and successful in the short term as well as in the future.
Understanding how behaviour works to real situations, we aim to increase behaviours that are helpful and adaptive and decrease those that might be hurtful or affect learning.
Individualized treatment is a distinctive feature of ABA Therapy and Instruction. No two individuals with behavioural issues are the same regarding how the disorder manifests and its impact on a variety of social contexts. As ABA prefessionals we engane in a comprehensive use principles of learning to adapt intervention plans so that they can meet the needs of a unique person.
We believe that through carefully constructed individual treatment plans all clients may show substantial progress in important characteristics of the disorder.
